Veterans: A personal perspective.
Sgt. 1st Class Cronkite
By Lyndsea Cronkite
November 11th, Veterans Day, is a United States Federal Holiday observed annually which honors Armed Forces Service members both past, and present that have served this great nation.
Sergeant First Class (SFC) Vince Cronkite has been serving his country for 25 years and feels he has done a good job serving his country.
Sgt. 1st Class Cronkite says he joined the military because everyone in his family served.
"War is an ugly thing, but not as ugly as those that refuse to serve and ride the backs of those that do,” said Cronkite. “I don't like war and the U.S. Army's primary mission is to detour war, but should my country ask I will go to defend her. I enlisted to serve my country," said Cronkite.
Sgt. 1st Class Cronkite has strong feelings about serving his country and believes that those who chose to do the same are cut from a different cloth from others.
"Not all are cut out to serve their country. For those that wish to enlist, do your time honorably. For those that don't enlist at least support the forces," said Cronkite, who found making the choice to serve an easy one.
"Being a soldier was easy for me. It almost came natural. For some it may not be. I can't answer for others or how their career may go or will I, but for me I had no issues," said Cronkite.
One aspect of the job that is not so great is that soldiers do get deployed all over the world, most often without their families,
" I felt bad being deployed a lot due to the fact that I missed a lot of my kids life. I didn't get to see them grow up," said Cronkite.
Sgt. 1st Class Cronkite has done a wonderful thing for his country. He has served with honor and pride.
If you ever see a soldier either in uniform or if you know any please don't hesitate to thank them for their service.

It’s hard to transition into a new style without a few pointers.
Many people don’t know what colors they shouldn’t wear in the fall.
“I wouldn’t wear bright pastel colors that you would wear in the spring,” said Adair. “I love grey, black, wine red, etc. In the fall season.”
Fall colors give an earthy tone to your wardrobe. When wearing spring colors in the fall, you tend to stand out and possibly look uncomfortable. It is the same as wearing shorts in the winter season.
Knee high boots and over sized sweaters are always trending in the fall.
“My favorite part about fall is wearing scarves and boots,” said Adair.
If you want to look fashionable in the fall, a lot of new things are trending as well. Different color fabric prints, floor duster coats, slip dresses, white blouses, pants suits, and a touch of fur are all trending this fall.
So bring out your best looks and make a fashion statement! Never fit the style, always fit the season.
